Refund and Cancellation Policy

When submitting your request for a domain name, web hosting, phone number (PhNUM®) order, or any other related product or service, you agree to the following conditions stated below.

Any Payments made to America Registry as stated in our Terms Of Service are non-refundable, which is incorporated herein by reference and made part of this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Conditions

You Agree that:

1. in the event that the domain name, phone number, or related product or service is not available for registration, you will receive a credit towards another purchase. This credit will be visible in the control panel of your account under the credit link. If you wish to have a full refund instead of a credit, you may request this in writing by providing us with your America Registry Username, and by emailing such requests to: refunds@americaregistry.com.
   
   
2. if you have made a mistake with an order, you must immediately contact us via telephone to cancel the order.
   
   
3. we cannot accept a request to cancel an order by email.
   
   
4. if you request an order cancellation for any order that can still be cancelled by us, we will refund you 80% of the original order amount. America Registry will charge a 20% fee to recover all associated banking and administration costs in relation to processing and cancelling your order.
   
   
5. some products are automatically registered at the Registry by America Registry as soon as they are ordered, and these types of orders cannot be cancelled. In these circumstances no refund will be offered or provided.
   
   
6. a renewal order cannot be cancelled once the order has been processed.
   
   
7. in the event that you place a renewal order for a domain name or phone number which has passed its expiry date, we will use all reasonable means to renew the domain name or phone number.
   
   
8. it is not always possible to successfully renew a domain name or phone number that has passed its expiry date. For any late renewal order of a domain name or phone number that cannot be renewed successfully, we will refund you 80% of the original order amount. America Registry will charge a 20% fee in order to recover all associated banking and administration costs in relation to processing the late renewal order.
   
   
9. our Web Hosting/Email Hosting service is paid on an annual basis and the purchase of our web hosting packages is non-refundable. In the first month you may request to cancel the hosting plan you have ordered, in which case, 30% of the purchase price will be retained by America Registry for administration and set up costs.
   
   
10. no pro-rata refunds will be provided for cancellation of any web hosting service once the service has been active for more than 30 days.
    
    
11. any payment made for a phone number order is a non-refundable unless the phone number has not been registered successfully.
